Doing our part extends beyond simply producing a product. It began with an effort to enhance men’s lives through improved personal care, and it has expanded into something broader. Through the Giveback Program, assistance now reaches people in numerous places. The goal is to support causes connected to education, health, hygiene, and opportunity, and to inspire happier, healthier lives along the way.
The impact is visible in numbers. More than twenty-four million soap bars have been donated. Over six million pounds of soap have been recycled. More than four hundred thousand people have been served. Six hundred schools have received support. Sixty-five women soapmakers have been assisted. Work has reached nineteen countries. More than four thousand metric tons of carbon emissions have been avoided. And over twelve million liters of freshwater have been saved.
The mission behind this work concentrates on a few key areas. One is mental health and communities in need. Another is professional development and opportunity. A third is hygiene access and education. These priorities guide where support goes and how partnerships are selected.
Several partners share in this effort. B-Corp is one. Homeboy Industries is another. The reason for partnering with Homeboy Industries stems from a belief in second chances and community. The organization supports people who were formerly involved in gangs or who were previously incarcerated, helping them rebuild their lives. Each year it serves more than ten thousand people across Los Angeles, offering hope, training, and support.
Outward Bound is also a partner. The belief here is that nature and challenge can build character. That is why experiential learning and personal growth are supported for people from all backgrounds. Outward Bound is a nonprofit that uses expeditions and hands-on learning to encourage self-discovery, character development, and service.
Eco Soap Bank is another partner, chosen because of a belief in sustainability and global health. This group recycles hotel soap, improves hygiene, and creates jobs for women in need. It saves and sanitizes discarded hotel soap to cut waste and support health around the world.
The People Concern is one of the largest social service agencies in Los Angeles County. It works to end homelessness through a housing-first approach paired with wraparound services, helping the most vulnerable rebuild their lives.
Wounded Warrior Project is a partner as well. Products are made in the United States, and there is support for those who serve. This group helps veterans move into civilian life, and it assists veterans and their families as they build a positive future. Every warrior has a next mission.
U.S. Vets is included because safe housing, hygiene, and support matter for a happy, healthy life, especially for those who served. This nonprofit helps veterans move safely and permanently out of homelessness and supports the many veterans facing that situation across the country.
Outdoor Outreach is supported through a partnership with Chris Burkard. The goal is to expand outdoor access for youth from under-resourced communities and to inspire confidence, leadership, and care for the environment. Based in San Diego, this nonprofit uses outdoor experiences to build skills and a lasting connection to nature.
Yosemite Climbing Association is another partner, chosen to help protect public lands and preserve the natural spaces that inspire the products and the community. This group preserves climbing history and promotes stewardship through volunteer cleanups in parks and open spaces, keeping the natural world safe, clean, and open to all.
